Yoga Nidra is a practice from the Yogic traditions where you are guided to rest in a state between being asleep and being awake – your body sleeps but you are still awake and aware of the practice. This brings you into a profound state of physical relaxation and brings your mind into a more expansive, liminal state between sleeping and waking where you have the potential to move beyond your everyday state of consciousness and explore a more expansive way of being. The benefits of Yoga Nidra are diverse and include improving sleep and treating insomnia, physical and emotional healing, rejuvenation on all levels, problem solving, exploration of themes or ideas, enhanced creativity and deep meditation. Your session will be designed to meet what your need from the practice, utilising the techniques and visualisations that guide the practice in the direction that you need. The session will also be recorded so you can listen again at any time.
